"GIFTS FROM HOME"
Over
240 Packages have been set to the Troops on the front lines.
Please won't
you help!
Our brave troops have left their homes, family, and friends
to do
their patriotic duty for our country.
Their sacrifices need to be acknowledged.
You can honor them with your daily prayers, but you can
also put
your faith into action.
Our American flags are flying high,
we are displaying our yellow ribbons,
we have our magnets and bumper stickers on our cars,
and we're sending emails that have pictures and poems to
remind us
of them.
Doing these things are great ways for us to show each other
support for our armed forces, but it is time for us to prove
it to
THEM!!!!!
"Gifts From Home"
is one way for you to show support directly to our troops.
This is a new program for our community.
Many much needed supplies have already been sent to our
troops,
with almost all the gifts going from your neighbors,
Whitfield County.
The gifts have been sent to Iraq, Afghanistan,
and other regions throughout the Middle East war zones.
Packages include items such as razors, toothbrushes,
deodorant, batteries and other necessities that we take
for granted.
We also include food items like Gatorade packs, cookies,
candy, gum,
chips, crackers, peanuts, fruit cups, etc.
along with cards & letters to help boost their morale.
Supporting this program will provide these supplies
and will let them know your appreciation for their service.
One box of "Gifts From Home"
will mean more than you
could ever know...
